TangaBid is a digital bidding platform that connects institutional buyers (schools, hotels, restaurants, NGOs, etc.) with verified agricultural producers and cooperatives in Rwanda. Our goal is to create a transparent marketplace where buyers can post bids for agricultural products and receive competitive offers from sellers.
For Buyers: Register, post bids with specifications, compare offers from verified sellers, and accept the best offer.
For Sellers: Register, get verified, browse available bids, submit competitive offers, and fulfill orders when accepted.

Registration and browsing are completely free. We charge a small commission only on successful transactions. The commission rate is transparently displayed on your dashboard before you accept any offers.
Any legitimate institution or business that purchases agricultural products can register as a buyer. This includes schools, hotels, restaurants, hospitals, NGOs, government institutions, and food processing companies.
All sellers on our platform go through a verification process. Additionally, you can view seller ratings and reviews from previous transactions. We also encourage specifying quality requirements clearly in your bid descriptions.
We welcome individual farmers, farmer cooperatives, agricultural distributors, and processors to register as sellers. All sellers must complete our verification process before being able to submit offers.
Our verification process typically takes 1-2 business days. We review your submitted information and may contact you for additional documentation if needed. You'll be notified by email once your account is verified.
Currently, TangaBid facilitates the connection between buyers and sellers, but payments are handled directly between parties. We recommend using mobile money, bank transfers, or other traceable payment methods. In the future, we plan to integrate secure payment processing directly into our platform.
We provide a dispute resolution service for all transactions through our platform. If issues arise, contact our support team immediately, and we'll work with both parties to find a fair solution. This is why we recommend keeping all communication within the platform.
